PUBLIC NOTICE IN THE PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF LICENSE FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ELECTRICITY Print

“LE Trading BH” d.o.o. Banja Luka, filed with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) the application for issuance of the license for international trade in electricity. The applicant is a holder of the temporary license for performance of the activity of international trade which expires on 31 August 2020.

The Company was entered into the register of the Regional Court of Commerce in Banja Luka under the company registration number: 57-01-0010-16. The founder of the Company is LE Trading a.s. seated at Miletičova 21, Bratislava, Republic of Slovakia.

The application has to verify technical, legal and financial capacities of the applicant to fulfil all the criteria, conditions and standards as prescribed by the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Licensing Rule. These criteria are conducive to the creation of conditions for unlimited and free trade and continued electricity supply in accordance with the defined quality standard to the benefit of BiH citizens, and the creation of the electricity market. SERC is free to include in the licensing conditions requirements reflecting the relevant acquis of the European Union and contributing to the objectives of laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as rules and regulations of SERC.

The applicant is obligated to provide evidence of fulfilling all criteria and standards for the issuance of license. The persons interested in acquiring intervener status may file with SERC a request in writing no later than 20 June 2020. Intervener status may be granted to a person who proves a direct interest in the procedure for issuance of the licence, which differs from the general public interest in the issuance of the licence. The role and responsibilities of interveners in the licensing procedure are defined pursuant to Article 11 of the Licensing Rule.
