Legal person “WASSERKRAFTˮ d.o.o., Banja Luka, is interested in performing the international electricity trading activity which is the reason why it filed with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) the application for issuance of a license.

The founders of the subject of registration are the foreign citizens (The Republic of Italy): Silvano Bottaro, Savinjone, Carlo Garrè No. 18, Ivano Vallarino, Savinjone, Località Ronchetto No. 10/A, Lucia Vallarino, Savinjone, Via Carlo Caorile No. 7, and Moreno Bottaro, Savinjone, Località Bosco No. 18. The seat of the Company is in Banja Luka at Vidovdanska bb.

The applicant is obligated to provide evidence of fulfilling all criteria and standards for the issuance of the license. The application has to verify technical, legal and financial capacities of the applicant to fulfil all the criteria, conditions and standards as prescribed by the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Licensing Rule.

These criteria are conducive to the creation of conditions for unlimited and free trade and continued electricity supply in accordance with the defined quality standard to the benefit of BiH citizens, and the creation of the electricity market. SERC is free to include in the licence conditions requirements reflecting the relevant acquis of the European Union and contributing to the objectives of laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as rules and regulations of SERC.

The persons interested in acquiring intervener status may file with SERC a request in writing no later than 11 November 2022. Intervener status may be granted to a person who proves a direct interest in the procedure for issuance of the temporary licence, which differs from the general public interest in the issuance of the temporary licence. The role and responsibilities of interveners in the licensing procedure are defined in Article 11 of the Licensing Rule.
