PUBLIC NOTICE IN THE PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF LICENSE FOR INTERNATIONAL ELECTRICITY TRADING ACTIVITY - EFT Print

Legal person “Energy Financing Teamˮ d.o.o., Bileća, filed with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) the application for issuance of a license for performance of the international electricity trading activity. The applicant is a holder of the five-year license for performance of the international electricity trading activity which is valid until 30 June 2023.

The Company is registered in accordance with the Decision of the Regional Commercial Court in Trebinje under number 62-01-0065-12 (RU-1-1769-00). The founder of the Company is EFT INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENTS HOLDINGS LIMITED seated in London, Great Britain at 111 Buckingham Palace Road, SW1W oSR

The applicant is obligated to provide evidence of fulfilling all criteria and standards for the issuance of the license. The application has to verify technical, legal and financial capacities of the applicant to fulfil all the criteria, conditions and standards as prescribed by the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Licensing Rule.

These criteria are conducive to the creation of conditions for unlimited and free trade and continued electricity supply in accordance with the defined quality standard to the benefit of BiH citizens, and the creation of the electricity market. SERC is free to include in the licence conditions requirements reflecting the relevant acquis of the European Union and contributing to the objectives of laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as rules and regulations of SERC.

The persons interested in acquiring intervener status may file with SERC a request in writing no later than 17 March 2023. Intervener status may be granted to a person who proves a direct interest in the procedure for issuance of the temporary licence, which differs from the general public interest in the issuance of the temporary licence. The role and responsibilities of interveners in the licensing procedure are defined in Article 11 of the Licensing Rule.
