Legal person “Green Energy Trading – Trgovina zelenom energijom” d.o.o., Široki Brijeg, is interested to continue performing the international electricity trading activity which is the reason why it filed with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) the application for issuance of a license. The current licence is valid until 29 September 2024.
The company was registered on 22 December 2020 by the Decision of the Municipal Court in Široki Brijeg (registration number of the subject of entry: 64-01-0093-20), initially under the name “HH savjetovanje” d.o.o. Široki Brijeg. The founder/member of the subject of entry is a natural person – Franjo Herceg, Široki Brijeg. Since 13 April 2022 the new company’s name is: Green Energy Trading – Trgovina zelenom energijom” d.o.o., Široki Brijeg.
The applicant is obligated to provide evidence of fulfilling all criteria and standards for the issuance of the license. The application has to verify technical, legal and financial capacities of the applicant to fulfil all the criteria, conditions and standards as prescribed by the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Licensing Rule.
These criteria are conducive to the creation of conditions for unlimited and free trade and continued electricity supply in accordance with the defined quality standard to the benefit of BIH citizens, and the creation of the electricity market. SERC is free to include in the licence conditions requirements reflecting the relevant acquis of the European Union and contributing to the objectives of laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as rules and regulations of SERC.
The persons interested in acquiring intervener status may file with SERC a request in writing no later than 24 June 2024. Intervener status may be granted to a person who proves a direct interest in the procedure for issuance of the licence, which differs from the general public interest. The role and responsibilities of interveners in the licensing procedure are defined in Article 11 of the Licensing Rule.
