“Petrol BH Oil Company” d.o.o., Sarajevo is interested to continue performing the international electricity trading activity which is the reason why it filed with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) the application for issuance of a licence.
The Company was registered in line with the Decision of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo reference number 065-0-Reg-09-001870 of 17 August 2009 and entered into the Register of Companies of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo under MBS: 1-21444. The founder of the Company is a foreign legal person, “Petrol Slovenska energetska družba” d.d. Ljubljana, Republic of Slovenia. The core activity of the Company is wholesale trading in solid, liquid and gaseous fuels and related products.
The applicant is obligated to provide evidence of fulfilling all criteria and standards for the issuance of the licence. The application has to verify technical, legal and financial capacities of the applicant to fulfil all the criteria, conditions and standards as prescribed by the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator of BIH and the Licensing Rule.
These criteria are conducive to the creation of conditions for unlimited and free trade and continued electricity supply in accordance with the defined quality standard to the benefit of BiH citizens, and the creation of the electricity market. SERC is free to include in the licence conditions the requirements reflecting the relevant acquis of the European Union and contributing to the objectives of laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as rules and regulations of the State Electricity Regulatory Commission.
The persons interested in acquiring intervener status may file with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission a request in writing no later than 27 December 2024. Intervener status may be granted by SERC to a person who proves a direct interest in the procedure for issuance of the licence, which differs from the general public interest in the issuance of the licence. The role and responsibilities of interveners in the licensing procedure are defined in Article 11 of the Licensing Rule.
