Legal
person “Renewable Energy Solutions BH” d.o.o., Banja Luka is interested
to continue performing the international electricity trading activity,
which is the reason why it filed with the State Electricity Regulatory
Commission (SERC) the application for issuance of the license. The
applicant is a holder of the temporary licence for performance of the
international electricity trading activity which is valid until 15
September 2023.
The
Company was founded by the Memorandum of Association on 27 January 2022
and registered in accordance with the Decision of the District
Commercial Court in Banja Luka (MBS: 57-01-0048-22; MB: 11215947). The
founders/members of the subject of registration are: STEMYANA LIMITED,
Stasinou 44, Strovolos 2002, Nicosia CYPRUS with capital participation
of 75% and Jovan Dević from Banja Luke with capital participation of
25%.
The
license applicant is obligated to provide evidence of fulfilling all
criteria and standards for the issuance of the license. The application
has to verify technical, legal and financial capacities of the applicant
to fulfil all the criteria, conditions and standards as prescribed by
the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator
of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Licensing Rule.
These
criteria are conducive to the creation of conditions for unlimited and
free trade and continued electricity supply in accordance with the
defined quality standard to the benefit of BIH citizens, and the
creation of the electricity market. SERC is free to include in the
licence conditions requirements reflecting the relevant acquis of
the European Union and contributing to the objectives of laws of Bosnia
and Herzegovina as well as rules and regulations of the State
Electricity Regulatory Commission.
The
persons interested in acquiring intervener status may file a written
request with SERC no later than 22 August 2023. The intervener status
may be granted to a person who proves a direct interest in the procedure
for issuance of the licence, which differs from the general public
interest for issuance of the licence. The role and responsibilities of
interveners in the procedure for issuance of licences are defined in
Article 11 of the Licensing Rule.
